The Pallenberg Maxi Dress in our 'Paphos' story.

Inspired by the vintage embroidered patches which we so often come across during our travels to India, we want to create a dress which mimicked this.

Rendered in cotton crepe fabric, the v-neck dress has elastic cuffs and matching tassels and pom-poms, but the highlight is the chest embroidery. 

We purchased a vintage piece of embroidery to take inspiration and produced the multi-colour design. The problem? The difficulty in achieving the faded colours of a vintage piece. 

The solution? Run a double stone-wash process to give both fabric and embroidery colours a slightly tattered effect. Bingo.
